Silver Shadow processes only the data needed to sell, license, activate and support the software. This can include your PayPal payer e-mail address, PayPal order/capture identifiers, license key, a one-way hashed device identifier, activation status, application version and timestamps.
The device identifier is used to enforce the rule “1 license = 1 computer”. Raw hardware details are not stored by the Silver Shadow licensing server.
Payment processing is performed by PayPal. Silver Shadow does not receive or store your PayPal password or payment-card details.
Contact details, controller identity, retention periods and legal bases must be completed before public launch.
